INTOXICATION THEORY.

Yesterday was another easy day as usual in the office, I love this place.

I think somehow inside of me, I wouldn't ever wanna ord if I stay here forever. Hahaha, serious. Oh my, can't believe I just said I didn't wanna ord.

Anyway, I left earlier from work for the first time. It was kinda rush but I didn't see the point of rushing anyway. Met lewis, max, tian (late as usual), nathan and his two other cj friends whom I got to know a little bit more and we got down to clarke quay.

Yeah, we were kinda doing some carlsberg holiday tv advertisement for christmas and chinese new year. I don't think the two ads will exceed two minutes of airing but our time spent there exceed nine freaking hours. Okay lah, it's not like I couldn't take it. I spent twice that amount of time doing sentry which is actually just standing/sitting/running beside the guard post. Standing and running because there were easily about eight mosquitoes hovering around my body whenever i sat down to take a break. But this is not about army and good times are here already =)

So, we got to mix around with some random people, look at some babes once in a while, mingle with a group of chinese nationals (max kept asking me to translate what he wanted to say, i got an E for goodness sake, I didn't do very well either -_-) and look at some local celebs like fiona xie, michelle chia, chong, mark lee and allan wu. Wong lilin came to support him too, but she left because obviously standing for an hour was already killing her.
The job was just to stand around, holding carlsberg bottles, sustaining yourself for about fifty or lesser takes, and mingle and pretend like you're having fun. Easy? Yeah, no kick lah, hahaha. Not bad also la, can see fiona xie also but erm, she kinda acts like a dumb blonde...

Anyway, everything was pretty repetitive and not to forget, attention-seeking since the set was situated right in the middle of clarke quay at the fountain area. Well, it's funny that I don't feel guilty for making max and lewis think that everything was gonna be filmed in zirca, hahaha.


It all ended around four in the morning, and I left the place richer and with a picture taken with mark lee and the other two guys. Sounds gay I know, hahah. I found it surprising that they didn't wanna take a shot with the female celebs instead. Towards the end of the shoot, about three-quarter of the extras left (I'm guessing you figured out I belong to the other quarter) and earned some ot pay. During the final takes, mark lee kept screwing up his english lines like "let's getter together to celebrate..."

Director: CUT!

Extra A: "What the..."
Extra B: "Walao..."
Extra C: "Not again..."
Lewis: "&$(@*#&$@# Iwannagopeealreadymybladder'sbursting...!"

Then all the other celebs had to teach him to brush up on his english lines and well, it ate up some more time.
Well, I guess that's it for the shoot. It was quite an experience, at least I got to know a little more people. Game was off-cue though, but we'll get it right the next time ;)


Oh, tell me if the holiday carlsberg ad airs on tv. I hardly watch much telly anyway, hahaha.
