THE WEEK'S INTERIM.

Hey peeps, I'm gonna go on the photography expedition.

Guess I'm gonna learn a lot of things on this mission, so I'm really looking forward to it. Yeah I might get some stuff for you kids but I'll see how it goes, I don't get to enjoy very long, a week ain't long enough :/

I'll manage though, and you try to manage not to miss me, heh heh.

I'll resume blogging after new year's so, enjoy your first second of the year 2008 without me!

And my blog is nearing four years' old. *sniff* Emotional moment, and it's even as old as kennysia's, wahahaha.

Alright, I'll stop with the crap, seeya kiddos real soon!

CANDLES, CROSS AND THE COMING.

Christmas eve was my family gathering at a certain hospital in the east and then we'd adjourn at my aunt's friend's place, which is usually a vacant terrace house. Oh, you wondering why we go to the hospital on christmas eve? To play badminton and other games! Ahaha and yes, serious.Oh, but before that I borrowed this book which I so badly wanted to read. Cross by james patterson. Ah well, I'm already biased cos' I keep reading his thrillers. I tell you man, this book totally made my christmas, and it finally popped up in front of my face after I spent such a long time searching, hoho.
Spaced out.As you can see, I wasn't very active during this period =D

But I still played later anyway, which shows that a photographer's life can be just as vibrant!
At first when I started playing badminton with my cousin rachel, she kept smacking all the shots I directed at her. That was when I realised her cca was badminton, gah. But she was too lazy to move her body any more than two feet so I gave her all the light shots near the net =) It was around eight in the evening, so we all decided to get to that house for dinner. A befitting christmas dinner complete with turkey and ham =)Whoaaa, beer belly? =x

Anyway, we all kept playing like card games the whole night through because the place was totally boring my ass off. It's really dusty too, and I think we were there to clean up the house by breathing in all the dust, ugh.

Oh, we played asshole draw daidee too, thank me for introducing them to this improved version of the original =) And because of my expertise, I won ten rounds consecutively before losing my throne to the scientist. Then, relinquishing my position as winner in the final four rounds, hohoho. Had to thank jeremy for giving me all his valuable cards, hahaha.
Scientist: "I hope I get a chemistry set this year."
The Brother: "Uh yeah, and I hope I get longer white pants for my rv uniform."

Ahaha I think I'm damn mean, but oh well =D

As mentioned above, it was time for gift exchanging. Okay, to me this was the worst part. Everyone was supposed to draw lots and the number picked would determine the order in which you get to pick your gift, which are all on the table. Most of them got their numbers already and I was still snapping shots around. Then when I dipped my hand into the bag and unfolded the piece of paper, there was no number, no scribble.Okay so for that second, I thought okay this is a mistake, they must've forgotten to write digits on this.

Then I called out to my mom and her first reaction was, "HAHA! BLANK!"

The last word resonated through everyone's ears and there I was, standing there like a fool holding a blank piece of scrap paper. This didn't even happen in past years and this year it had to happen to me. Never mind, I already got what I wanted this christmas, no regrets! The Brother: Oh look, I got some bizzare-looking flask which my sis can use to mix chemicals! Hehe!
Jeremy: I got myself a cool wallet! Now I don't feel so bad helping my cousin to win daidee for about ten times!
My aunties who decreed that I go gift-less this holiday, including my mom >.<So after all that commotion, all my cousins took refuge in some room and started to play bridge -_-

Then the scientist's brother came in and said he wanted to play because he thought he was a pro at it. But the forces of gu came down hard on his insolence and beat him fair and square, wahahah.

Next morning was christmas service and it was quite enjoyable I guess. Free lunch yoo noe! Thanks nathan, ahaha. But it didn't matter to him now that he has the sony playstation three. Ahhh, green.

That's it for my christmas and ah, I'd say it was definitely well spent. Blessed christmas everyone and have a happy boxing day! =)

OF THE APOCALYPTIC.

Selamat hari raya, people! A belated one, in fact.

Since the fruits were at their wits' end once again, we had to settle for nigel's. Don't know why but I can never get sick of that place...for now, ahaha. Actually it was a little more special because I could get to visit army kid kelly, who arrived back from tekong for the holiday.I realised even his shirt says 'get real'. Whoa, that's a man! I'm gonna become like him very soon, wahaha. Initially I took him without his cap on but he forbid me from blogging about it. Fineee.Recruit t. c. lim!

Uhh, I thought of blogging more about this but forget it, the thought of national security just came to mind so I'll stop here.

But he shared with me about how army life is like, how's it's so slack now and the thought of how I'm gonna enjoy it about four months later... Wheee! Hmm but there're quite alot of guys in one bunk so, ah I'll live with it. Bonding ^^Ordered hawaian pizza from pizza hut. Ugh, hate the sizes. We practically lazed around the entire night. Watching another brain-shrinking show like that 9pm mandarin serial which cheryl loved. Melvin now has someone with common interests!
Oh, caught deal or no deal too, and what the hell I can't stand that show too, ahaha. "$250,000! no deal! no deal!"While that was happening, darren introduced the kids to big bang theory. Haha it's a hit I tell you, and it'd be even better if the strike never happened in the first place. And in case you kids don't know there's a strike going on (yes, it happens to many ignoramuses), you can read about it.
Masseuse choy. When pang arrived and tried to pull off a seductive pose, it was movie time.

She told us some shocking news too. Haha but the news took some time to register in my mind before making me think like "ohhh..."Hmm but well, I feel sad in a way, since it's like I'm gonna lose another bickering friend for quite some time. Well, I guess this is just the prelude of many separations to come huh? =/Had to watch eye 10 again.

The show is a joke lah, so many hilarious parts. But charissa buried her eyes in the cushion throughout the entire show cos' she was really frightened. Whoa, couldn't believe it at all, while bec did the same but realised she actually watched the show before halfway through -.-
I think the basketball scene in the show was the most stupid one. It started bouncing by itself and some guy was near it, and it was supposed to imply that a ghost was bouncing it. Then the guy freaked out, and he got possessed by the ghost. Then he started doing zombified breakdancing moves. Meanwhile, it just so happens that two breakdancers came along and thought that they were being challenged and then, both parties were engaged in some breakdancing contest -___-

Everyone came out from their homes to watch them and then the possessed guy walked up the ceiling and everyone started freaking out (while some aunties gave some really unconvincing expressions). Then the scene ended with everyone running away while the ghost left the guy's body. Lame shit right? Hahaha not even a horror flick man.
The girls cabbed home and I followed the gayboys to ride around the neighbourhood.
Spotted zhengliang too, reow.

SUCK MY KISS!

Hello kiddies, I declare the nineteenth of december two-thousand-and-seven a splendid day because...

I had a good swim, a good workout and a good wii time with guitar hero at moses'.

'Suck my kiss' by the red hot chilli peppers and 'paint it black' by the rolling stones keep replaying again and again in my head man. But I totally suck at the game, have trouble even at the easy level.

Anyway, have a listen to the former one, weeooeet.

Other than that, trip to queensway paid off, mwahaha. Actually I went there to get a pair of shoes, informal ones. I wanted them brown too and uh, nathan suggested nike dunks. The pair I really wanted costed like $169 and he said they'd go off the shelf by this week, since it's a limited edition one. For a moment I was contemplating it but uh, I went around to look.

Until I saw...
The holy grail of all desirable brown shoes; ooo lala.

Technically speaking, this was really my opportunity cost. And it's discounted too, so it's a prime buy man. Discounted price is a whopping-ly affordable $96. Shoe guru nate even thought it looked good. Man, I have taste.
He told me the '6.0' is something to do with the air in the shoe but well, no idea.Back view, swt.
'Zipper' laces and a secure knot executed by yours truly, bea-u-ti-ful.Never knew a tick could imbue a sense of empowerment and ownership in me, lovely.Oh love the sole too, looks unique man, the way it's so intricately designed. One final look at this work of engineering perfection.Last one. (tian quote)

Ahhhhh, don't tell me I don't give you kids eye candies.
If you want the high-resolution images, well i'd be more than happy to send them to you ^^

Suck my kiss!

WE'LL RENDEZVOUS NOW AND THEN.

I'm kinda late with this post again, like always. But I've got a more genuine excuse than with my previous post. It's because I was trying to watermark all my images and that process kinda got screwed up halfway through. So I guess I took some time to figure out everything, heh. Oh and the white logo that you see recurring throughout every picture is the new ultimaflux logo I created, mwahahaha.Anyway at the dawn of the fifteenth of december, the two gayboys had this crazy idea to cab down to celebrate the blueberry's birthday. And well uh, it wasn't a good night so I tried to convince myself to make myself feel better and just tag along.I guess I was reluctant to go probably cos' of the cab fares, but I'm glad I went anyway, ahaha.
Birthday girl tried to cover her red cheeks from showing after drinking too much alcohol, ahaha or maybe it wasn't even too much yet.
I guess you can see it better there, heh heh.We were at this cheese prata stall in pasir panjang and it was still rather full even at three in the morning. I guess it's quite famous after all but, I'm not exactly the connoisseur tell the quality of hawker food apart.Darren's, forgot the name of it. He didn't choose to buy banana prata though =(Cheese and mushroom prata I ordered which costs 2.70. Hardly enough to satisfy my hunger in my opinion.Cheapskate celebration with a scrap of serviette stuffed into a straw to act as a candle and birthday wishes scrawled with curry sauce on a plate planned by someone we know very well (hint: it's not me).Well, worked out anyway =)Then we walked around aimlessly for a while before deciding to go to west coast park. With birthday girl playing around with the camera and looking like a red goldfish.Soul-less roads at four a.m. (apart from us) and misplaced pretty flowers.Going retarded.
Tempting to sail out to the middle of the ocean but the thought of oil-polluted water and laziness thrusted me back into reality. We took really long walks cos' someone was afraid to take the shortcut across the grass where the frog croaks were coming from =D
Took some pictures too.

I feel greatly underdressed too, hahaha.
Two gayboys brought their guitars along for a duet too, awww.And I did the vocals for the birthday songs, ahaha. Fortunately it was a small audience =D Turned out to be quite fun though.Look at nigel's left foot and you'll discover he's the feminine half, like d-oh, heh heh.Wandered around for a really long time till about five to six and went to look for the bus-stop.And there till the cows came home and the milk turned into cheese, then a cab came miraculously at about half-past six then I went home to sleep for seven hours. Before celebrating my grandpa's birthday at some restaurant at night! Busy day huh, uh huh. I'll keep this one brief though.Haha, for this roasted pig I took his ass first and was wondering whether any of them would reprimand me for taking the ass. Then they did -.- and I took the head instead, looks better though.
Man tou is it? They call em' longevity buns and they taste good. But each person only got to take one so, argh what's the point.Mmm, lana cake. Family tradition to get these great cakes from the same stall every time. And that's my extended family. My grandpa's in red sitting down =)

Oh, my bro thinks our uncle or 'bo zhang' in front of him looks like kim jong il. Hahaha, yeah I know, random.

CHASING THE DUCHENNE SMILE.

I didn't wanna blog about fruits' chalet because I couldn't imagine the immense amount of time I'd have to spend on uploading photos. But I guess I'll just take the easy way out by summarising the events.

We had already realised too, that it would be the last chalet we'd ever have since our paths will diverge even further after this juncture in life, and there'd be no turning back. So, we made the best out of every moment even though the weather seemed to turn against us when we first set foot onto sentosa. It rained all day and it was wet hell trying to get up to the resort while one of the staff at the bus station didn't even provide helpful assistance at all. We got to shrink our brains by watching a repeat episode of police and thief,Amuse ourselves with uno stacko, with the loser drinking cups of water without visiting the loo for about a couple of hours (that's pang toppling the blocks ahaha),Toss around esther's sheep mercilessly everywhere,Get into all sorts of lewd positions playing twister,Get locked out entirely for a night,Make all sorts of shapes with sparklers and a high aperture dslr cam,Overcook the instant noodles and hard-boiled eggs,(not forgetting) Burning marshmallows for the thrill of seeing caramel effervescence,After that having an insatiable hunger for real food at sakae's,And viewing the forbidden spectacle of the sparkler tower, plus a hell lot of camwhoring events.

Haha, these events really bring me back to the time when I first joined this clique. Initially I really had no idea things would go that far cos' I sorta only joined with a purpose. I still recall when I was put on a probation period and was called a 'vegetable' for the time being, before I could be successfully admitted as a 'fruit'.

So they made me a veggie; kai lan.

Pheesh, but it wasn't before long when they made me a kiwi instead, for some... reason.

Over the years since sec two I guess everyone in the clique clicked, since we occasionally went out on outings whilst arguing who should be the one to organise them, celebrated birthdays and a lot of camwhoring (I think I never knew what was the true meaning of that till I met them ahaha), and you can visit some other blog for more of those photos from the chalet.

I actually found a sis through them, another someone to bitch about a certain school, two gay boys and four other wonderful fruits.

I guess I still find it amazing that even though we were all from different classes, somehow we still managed to meet up and do all kinds of stuff, however awkward at times.

Anyway, I hope those idiots don't delete away my photos from the hard drive.

SOCIETY OF SOPHOMORES.

I guess I've been pretty much lazy enough not to update. However, I shall go the extra mile to do so tonight! It's regarding the 4c bbq which kinda took place earlier this month so I'm rather late by about ten days. Met nigel first, and he always wears his dumb bowtie shirt, heh.

Anyway, I kinda relied on the street directory to get me to moses' house, but for some profoundly irrational reason, it led me to the wrong bus-stop even though I followed all the instructions correctly. And I'm not one to have navigational problems at all. We found our way there eventually though.Sommerville park. Think the last time I went moses' place was when we had some literature project and I had to negotiate with my mom to let me stay there for the night. Took an awful lot of time for persuasion.Well well, met about four faces I haven't seen in a while. Alson seemed to keep pretty much to himself at first while charmaine was still feisty as ever. Moses was the same too and jinghan, uh, heard he became a hell lot smarter.Marcus became more handsome alright. Hahaha, met him once before that in holland v and didn't really take notice of him. Now he's like some cool dude from the ac family, aha.Chooooo. Update your blog.Tian reading fhm again. Plus, he's reading the issue which he already read before. So should I say, 'reading again and again'.Think they were busy listening to what moses was talking while I was snapping and snapping, heh heh heh.
Soon after we came, we were about to leave to go downstairs when...
MEOOOWWWVEEEN CAME!
Ah sorry, it was tempting to flash the camera right at him when he stepped into the room, ahaha. He came with chih fai and jason too.Melvin again! Ahah I actually think this photo is quite good man. After you cut away jinghan, heh heh.

Anyway, melvin suddenly asked a few of us later on what was so special about him. Frankly I was kinda stumped, so I started saying "new bag? new shirt? new pants? more hair? (actually he shaved)" Tian was there too and we just kept guessing wrongly and melvin seemed to become more upset by the moment until tian shouted "new braces!"
Ohhh, damn right!Hmm, I'm sorta getting mixed reactions about tian's newly acquired physique. Mostly negative, ahaha. As for me I'm so used to hanging around with him I don't really bother about that aspect of him. He must've been secretly gymming everyday at his jurong country club or something, heh.Sommerville park is a rather pristine place, except for the occasional caucasian kids running around causing audible disturbance in the neighbourhood. But one look at its surroundings makes you feel like you wanna live here after retirement. They began barbequeing after some mingling around. It was a fine day to do that too, so I guess I'm pretty grateful for that.Nigel up to his fire experiments again. Oh, this picture is clear enough to see the sparsely growing hairs on his wrist, wahaha.Hmm, so what's it good for?Meeeooow.Couldn't see abhishek at night so I took a candid shot of him, ahaha.
What's new? -_-Star of nfc(still defunct) turned up too!
Arr, historian arrives but escapes the paparazzi.More mingling during the bbq and everyone chat about everything from ns, to gossip about the past and latest happenings. Oh shot that historian's face while he was eating a marshmallow melvin fed to him, aww lovely.Choo wanted to take some picture with me for her uh, project? Weird, and I think this is best one I found. I think melvin suddenly passed me some umbrella for some reason I cannot recall or fathom. Before I knew it,He joined it, hahaha. Meeeooow!Taiwan-born singaporean. Hahaha.Tian shaving the black parts off a sausage he burnt, haha.

Still part of charmaine's uh, project thing.Bridge gang turned up to uh,Play bridge.Slim chance of evasion, li zhengliang! Hoho.Charmaine was chasing moses for something, then all eyes turned on chih fai."I don't even wanna talk about it, get the camera away."

Well actually, that's the least of his troubles to come.

Haha the inaugural taupok of the year began and the primary target was chih fai, as tian had briefed us earlier on. Since he's the one who planned it, it's obvious from the last photo, heh heh. Here's of him fleeing the scene, blatantly."讨厌。"Return to moses'.We were all gathered in a circle and I was starting to wonder, what next.

Then tian had a bright idea to play some game he learnt. It was a rather stupid one which involved slapping and trying not to say the wrong words. I think you can roughly measure how much slapping happened.

Meowveen. Think I could seriously start getting used to using this name instead. wahaha.Charmaine and marcus whacked the hell out of tian. And they were really seriously about that, ahaha.Get what I mean? heh heh. After the senseless game, we all kinda dug into ice-cream (sinful). Until moses brought out his laptop and...Some of us starting to view a certain someone's friendster profile. While the crowd grew, some sneaked to the back to gobble up the ice-cream. Diversion.Mini pig-shaped bak kwa.

Uh, after that they all started playing guitar hero on the wii, then some boxing game.

This turned up after abhi started playing, ahaha.Last one standing?Oh no, nigel was punching the air while he was sitting down, ahaha.I guess marcus couldn't stand tian winning every single match any longer.Oh, moses got hellgate london too. But he said it's not as good as it's been made out to be.Kinda looks like WoW though.Uh, they were dressing moses up with make-up.It was time to go I guess, but before that, a couple of group pictures!Cool peeps. It's like taupoks are the soul of 4c man. This time the main target was jason but he managed to take down nathan with him. So it seemed like nathan was the worst-off. Hahaha sad, and tian is seen sitting on all of them again -.- Well, the journey back wasn't exactly a very normal one. Melvin was damn high and started singing spice girls, then westlife, then backstreet boys and all those. I don't know how I survived but, I did.He even started to read fhm. Hahaha, what's with the world man.

Oh, melvin slept over at nigel's too. But I heard he was out cold, since he was like, high the whole night, hahaha.

~

Yesterday went supper with nigel and kelly so sorta have a last celebration before kelly goes to ns tomorrow! Hoho, so fun. Had the usual nasi lemak too, heh. And we were like all crowded around nigel's laptop exploring friendster profiles (again). Kelly looking at shanshan's profile ^^ Smiling too, hahaha.

I know kelly's gonna hate me for this but, ahaha have fun at tekong tomorrow kid!

Watched harold and kumar go to white castle too. Yeah I know it's late but, ahaha it's quite a retarded show. Funny too, hoho. Wait till april 2008 for the sequel, heh.

THE MARKSMAN'S OUT.

Ah apologies for the absence. Been really busy and stuff but now I've got some time to settle down and talk about the latest happenings, with the most prominent being my new nikon d40x digital slr camera, wahaha. And I think I'll go with the reverse chronological order again.
Class outing recently at marina square.I thought walking through jurong point at dinnertime is hell. Well, queuing up for dinner at spageddies is even fresher hell, especially for two tables of seven. They sold all italian food but I wasn't seriously expecting much.I think this is the lasagne that desmond ordered. It looks really tiny on a big plate, tsk.The spaghetti ham and mushroom I ordered. It's a small portion too and freaking salty. It's like I aggravated the situation when I released a load of parmesan cheese onto my spaghetti, hahaha. Anyway the seven of us used so much cheese that we had to ask for another bottle of cheese (which was quickly used up, again).
Haha, this is funny. Lewis, eugene and chris originally ordered this rotisserie chicken which was supposed to be quite a big portion. But they coincidentally ran out of potato and had to change it to french fries or something. The next moment, I think they all wanted new orders since chris doubted that it'd be something that'll fill their stomachs. So lewis and eugene got pork chops (above) while chris went for the chicken diavolo (below).Turns out that the pork chops were actually more worth it than the chicken, hahaha and the waitress actually promised chris that his dish would be bigger. So he called the waitress over to complain but since she looks like she's temporary staff, she didn't actually entertain his crap much, heh heh.
So you see two satisfied customers there. This is what jiayang ordered. Yes, he order this - chingyi's balls. It's so apt because they actually served him two meatballs. But since now his balls are found, it makes sense, because chingyi has more courage now that he has his princess ^^
Well after that was just walking along esplanade and visiting the merlion to hang around aimlessly. Since there was nothing better to do, I just left home while they stayed behind to bond some more, hahaha. Turns out hui kim didn't join them later that time since it was a friday.

Anyway, about a week ago I went with my parents to johor bahru. Ah, fine times, since I haven't been there for a really long time. I kinda tend to feel sick after visiting that place too but it didn't matter this time since I was already sick.Yeah so we visited the usual hangout at holiday plaza to uh, get my "stuff" like what almost every singaporean does when they're there ^^Then went to pelangi about a few blocks away which is a more decent shopping centre. Saw some cool things there too, heh heh. Went to popular bookstore first and...My gawd! Adam khoo's motivational books have penetrated the borders of malaysia, ahhh! Save their souls!Haha, for amelia's dog. They cost about seventy-five cents each, wahaha.

Right, done for now.
